CHINESE CHICKEN FRIED RICE
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of cooked rice
1 chicken breast, cut into small pieces
Vegetables (Onion & carrots, chopped), add to taste
green onions, add to taste
2 eggs
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Dashi, 2 pinches (Optional but highly recommended by Sensei Guy!)
Chicken base powder (Like Oxo), 1 pouch
Black pepper, 1 large pinch
Salt, 2-3 pinches
1 Tbsp Garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp butter
Soy Sauce, to taste (About 1-2 Tbsp)
Sesame oil, to taste (about 1/2 – 1 Tbsp)
DIRECTIONS
(Stir at every step)
- Cook 2 eggs.
- Add chicken, slightly undercook the chicken to 90% done.
- Add vegetables.
- Add rice, break down clumps.
- Add salt.
- Add black pepper.
- Add garlic.
- Add Dashi.
- Add chicken base (Oxo).
- Add butter.
- Add green onion.
- Add soy sauce.
- Add sesame oil.
- Done!
