SLOW COOKED HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN AND PEPPERS
KITCHEN TOOLS NEEDED
4-6 Quart slow cooker/Crock-pot
Mixing bowl
INGREDIENTS
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, chopped into cubes or sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup tomato puree (or you can use ketchup)
1/3 cup honey
1 sweet red pepper, chopped into 1 inch long strips
3 cloves garlic, minced
DIRECTIONS
- Lay chopped chicken breast pieces into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker. Spread sweet red pepper pieces on top.
- Whisk soy sauce, tomato puree, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
- Cook on Low for 6 hours.
