SPICY AVOCADO PASTA
KITCHEN TOOLS NEEDED
Large pot
Large mixing bowl
Potato masher
INGREDIENTS
1 ripe avocado
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1Tsp red pepper flakes
½ Tbsp. olive oil
3 cups of preferred pasta, cooked
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Deseed and remove avocado flesh from skin and place in a large mixing bowl. Mash well. Add garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mash well again. Set aside.
- Cook pasta per package instructions and drain. Return to pot, removed from heat.
- Add avocado mixture and red pepper flakes and stir well. If needed, add a few drops of olive oil to thin out the sauce. Serve.
