SLOW COOKER STEAK, CORN and PEPPER
INGREDIENTS
1 can tomato soup
2 to 3 tsp basil, powdered (rubbed through a fine sieve and throw out the tough stems left behind, or use and electric grinder)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 can corn, drained
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large steak, diced
3 large potatoes, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1/2 cup red wine (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Put the tomato soup, basil, pepper, sugar, and salt, in the slow cooker and stir together.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring them in well each time you add more in.
- Cook on high for 4 hours.
- Gently mash a little bit so that some of the potatoes thicken it up a bit. Let cool for a few minutes and serve!
