SLOW COOKER STEAK, CORN and PEPPER

SLOW COOKER STEAK, CORN and PEPPER

INGREDIENTS

1 can tomato soup
2 to 3 tsp basil, powdered (rubbed through a fine sieve and throw out the tough stems left behind, or use and electric grinder)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 can corn, drained
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large steak, diced
3 large potatoes, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1/2 cup red wine (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put the tomato soup, basil, pepper, sugar, and salt, in the slow cooker and stir together.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring them in well each time you add more in.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  4. Gently mash a little bit so that some of the potatoes thicken it up a bit. Let cool for a few minutes and serve!
